Led & Lights

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. When a fitting voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron are able to recombine with electron holes within the device, releasing eergy in the form of photons. This effect is called electroluminescence, and the color of the light (corresponding to the energy of the photon) is determined by the energy of the band gap of the semiconductor. Perhaps the most intriguing of all EXCEL offerings, the Light Emitting Diode lights add a warm, ambinet glow to your Walk-In Wardrobe-Pole Systems, with the underside of Shelves being the most popular and logical spot. These lights are powered by a transformer and activated by motion sensors. The transformer, motion sensors and accompanying wires are seamlessly built into pole systems so they will not protrude in an unsightly mess. All you have to do to brighten up your pole system is retreive something that is placed near a set of LED lights or move your hand near the lights. It is that easy!
