The One Touch Varco is an automatic robot vacuum cabinet door opener that lets you hide your robot vacuum and its base station behind a cabinet panel. When the robot crosses an infrared beam, an electric support arm opens the bottom panel so it can leave or return to its station, then closes the panel again. It suits HDB flats and condos where a neatly concealed cleaning robot is wanted in a kitchen, utility or carpentry cabinet.

How to install

• Installation is included.
• Leave at least 160mm clear height for the robot exit and 30mm behind the base station.
• Keep the robot at least 150mm from the panel when docked; the infrared beam should run as close to the robot as possible.
• The panel is hung on non-spring hinges: straight arm for full overlay, large crank for inset, medium crank for half overlay.
• After fitting, the infrared emitter is aligned with the reflector and the opening is fine-tuned with power on.

How much space does my robot vacuum need?

Allow an exit opening at least 160mm high, 30mm clearance behind the base station and at least 150mm between the docked robot and the panel.

Why does the panel not react straight after it has opened?

Each trigger is followed by a 15-second safety period. Crossing the beam again during this time does nothing, which is normal.

Can it be used with inset or overlay panels?

Yes. It works with full overlay, inset and half overlay panels, each using the matching non-spring hinge type.
